Obituary of Carole Bolger

Carole L. Bolger, 65, of Howell passed away at home on April 10, 2017. Carole was born in Teaneck, was a lifelong resident of Weehawken and had recently moved to the Surrey Downs community. She retired as a legal secretary for Shearman and Sterling, NYC after twenty-five years of dedicated service. Carole enjoyed spending time at the Jersey Shore with family and friends. She was a loyal Yankee fan. Carole was predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Edith Bolger. She is survived by two sisters, Patricia McColloch and her husband, Skip of Florida, and Marie Higginson of Freehold; two nephews, Brian Christie and his wife, Lisa of Texas, Kevin Foley and his wife, Brooke of Maywood; two nieces, Dawn Niedzwiedzki and her husband, John of Florida, and Cheryl Andrews and her husband, Jake of Delaware; four grandnephews; three grandnieces; and her faithful canine companion, Darla. A memorial gathering will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) on Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM with her memorial service to follow.
