Obituary of Camille Drennen
Camille Drennen, 70, of Brooklyn, NY passed away peacefully at Villa Marie Claire in Saddle River, NJ on Thursday, April 13, 2017. Camille was born in Germany and at the age of 2, immigrated to the United States and settled in Brooklyn, NY where she remained for life. Camille was a loving mother and devoted grandmother. She was completely selfless and cared only for others. Camille was a great Italian cook and made the best meatballs. A beach lover and Broadway show enthusiast, Camille was a huge Beatles fan, known for sneaking out of the house as a teenager and seeing them perform many times over the years. The love that Camille had with her children formed an unbreakable bond that will be forever cherished.
She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Macina. Camille is survived by her two daughters, Kristine Rogers and her husband, Frank of Spotswood, and Jennifer Kinkead and her husband, Matthew of PA; grandchildren, Katelyn Kinkead and Connor Kinkead; mother, Anne Macina of Brooklyn, NY; siblings, Andrew Macina and his wife, Joanne of Staten Island, NY, Carol Tanella and her husband, Gerard, of Brooklyn, NY and Michael Macina and his wife, Susan of FL; former husband, Jon Drennen of DE; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 1:00 to 3:00 and 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at 9:00 AM at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 for the procession to her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Entombment will follow in St. Gabriel's Cemetery & Chapel Mausoleum, Marlboro.
