So sad! We lost one of our "Golden Bell's". Rosie would be serving the piping hot coffee from 6AM through 3PM, Monday through Friday at the counter of one of Freehold Township's most noted diners-The Golden Bell. Freehold Township was predominately farm land back in the day, and Rosie would make sure the farmers who gathered for their breakfast started it with a cup of the coffee that she had brewing before dawn. Along with the coffee, Rosie would make sure each diner, at her counter, had a laugh. The staff along with the patrons, loved Rosie, and Rosie loved us. Rosie was a top notch waitress.....a powerhouse of a woman with an extraordinary sense of humor and a wonderful personality. Rest Peacefully, Rosie...such an awesome lady! We will miss you, Rosie!
