Obituary of Vincent Basile

Vincent Basile, 30, of Howell passed away at home on Wednesday, May 3, 2017. He was born on Staten Island, and raised in Freehold Township before settling in Howell five years ago. A graduate of Freehold Township High School, Vincent was a pizza master who put his skills to work at his family-owned restaurants. He was a giant of a man with a heart of gold; he brimmed with charm and charisma. Vincent was the baby of the family, adored by them and everyone who met him. He loved working out, arm wrestling and playing with his children, nieces and nephews. Vincent was a loving son, brother, father and husband. He is survived by his wife, Marie Basile; his three beautiful children, Scarlett, Isabella and Dominic; mother, Isabella Basile; father, Vito Basile; siblings, Maria Gordon, Salvatore Basile, and Dominick Basile; nine nieces and nephews; and numerous in-laws. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, May 8, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Interment will follow in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, 299 Freehold Englishtown Road, Freehold Township.
