Obituary of Vincent Passarelli

Vincent Passarelli, 82, of Freehold Township, died Saturday, April 18, 2009, at Bartley Health Care, Jackson. Mr. Passarelli was born in Brooklyn and had lived in Old Bridge before settling to Freehold. He was the owner/operator of Deli Delite, Old Bridge from 1964 to 1990. He was predeceased by three sisters, Rose, Anne, and Florence. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Dolores Passarelli; two sons and daughters-in-law, Pattrick and Vanessa Passarelli of Phoenix, Ariz., and Kenneth & Noel Passarelli of Jackson; a daughter and son-in-law, Rosemarie and Carl Policari of Jackson; five grandchildren, Gytano, Kenneth Jr., Samantha, Nicholas, and Jacqueline; and a sister, Yvonne Cusanelli of Jackson. Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 21 at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township. Relatives and friends may gather at 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 22 at the funeral home for his rite of committal, followed by his 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Interment will follow in Brig. Gen. William C Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
