Obituary of Margaret Lisa

Margaret C. "Peggy" Lisa, 89, of Jackson passed away at home on Sunday, May 21, 2017. Born and raised in Jersey City, she lived in Hoboken and Howell before moving to Jackson last year. Peggy was a security guard at the St. Francis School of Nursing until her retirement in 1987. She enjoyed crocheting, ceramics and spending time with her family. A beautiful person inside and out, Peggy was loved and will be missed by all who knew her. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Lisa, Sr. in 1962. Peggy is survived by her children, Michael Lisa, Jr. of Belmar, and Warren Lisa and his wife, Oby of Jackson; three grandchildren, Jessica Dick and her husband, Michael of Richboro, PA, Michael Lisa and his wife, Jamie-Lynn of Howell, and Warren Lisa, Jr. and his girlfriend, Chelsey Anicic of Jackson; and five great-grandchildren, Jack, Liam, Parker, Freddy and Connor. A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:00 AM funeral service on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
