Obituary of Lucrezia Cannatella
Lucrezia Cannatella, 73, of Freehold passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson Unversity Hospital, New Brunswick. Lucrezia was born and raised in Brooklyn and lived in Staten Island before moving to Freehold in 2014. She loved to watch her stories and old movies, and QVC shopping. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Lu was loved and treasured by her family, and her absence will leave a void that cannot be filled.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Cannatella in 2016; and her brother, Gregory Lepore. Lucrezia is survived by her son, Jeffrey Cannatella and his wife, Maureen, of Staten Island; daughter, Tracy Cannatella of Long Branch; grandchildren, Mallory Brager, Courtney Cannatella, Nicholas Cannatella and Kylie Cannatella; two brothers, Dominick Lepore and his wife, Patricia of Jackson and Joseph Lepore and his wife, Josephine of Staten Island; and grandpup, Rusty.
Visitation will be held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, May 28th and Monday, May 29th, 2017 from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the funeral home at 9:00 AM for the procession to her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold Township.
