Obituary of Joseph Gennaro

Joseph P. Gennaro, 63, of Howell, died Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at home. Mr. Gennaro was born in Newark and had lived in Union before moving to Howell in 1991. He had a love for fishing. Mr. Gennaro was a used car wholesaler for 40 years and the owner/operator of "2001 Used Cars", Linden. He was predeceased by his father, Anthony. Surviving are his wife, Lauren Gennaro; a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and James Pallitto of Howell; two grandchildren, Alisa and Gina; his mother, Viola Gennaro of Farmingdale, formerly of Union; and a brother, Anthony Gennaro of Brick,. Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 24 at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold Township. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 25 at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Farmingdale.
