Obituary of Frank Sabelli

Frank Sabelli, 78, of Toms River passed away on Friday, June 23, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Manhattan, he lived in Matawan before moving to Toms River in 2002. Frank was the owner/operator of D.P.M Trucking, Rahway until his retirement in the 1980's. Frank was a former parishioner of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Keyport, enjoyed fresh water fishing, and was a fan of the New York Giants and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Frank gave unconditionally and will be remembered as a great friend. He was predeceased by his wife, Jane Sabelli in 2012. Frank is survived by his children, Philip Sabelli and his wife, Kathryn of Toms River, Monica Devine and her husband, Robert of Howell, and Dorothy Lawlor and her husband, Patrick of Jackson; four grandchildren, Anthony Sabelli, Frankie Sabelli, Robert Devine, Jr. and Janie Devine; and sisters, Mary Murray of Keansburg and Chickie Kraus of Cheesequake. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 9:00 AM for the procession to his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 31 Asbury Road, Farmingdale. Interment will be private. For those who desire, memorial contributions in Frank's name may be made to the New Jersey United for Marijuana Reform, PO Box 32159, Newark, NJ 07102.
