Condolences
My Dad lived for his kids,Grandkids, and Great Granddaughter. There is nothing in life he would not do for his Family. Most people that knew him knew he was a giving Man and if you were a truely good Friend you also knew he was supporn and would argue for hours if he thought he was right. But he would not be Pop Pop if he didn't. He loved to give,If you needed something and he had it in his power to give it to you, then it was yours. He did not believe in hitting Children for any reason and he recently shared a story with me about something that happened many years ago to one of the neighborhood children. He felt because he talked to the young man's Grandmother about a bike he borrowed that the young man got a beating. He wanted me to call him and tell him he was sorry(now mind you this had to have happened 30 yrs ago) but it stilled weighed heavy on his mind and no matter how many times I tried to convince him that he probably didn't remember he still wanted me to call. Unfortunately I forgot to do it before he passed, but I called the next day and asked the young man to please tell him he was forgiven for what happened.
My condolences to the Layton family he was wonderful man that I will never forget Rip. I will continue to pray for your families healing during this period of time. He is among the angels now in the greatest kingdom. Sorry we weren't able to make it but our hearts and prayers are with you and your family.God bless Love Always Alexis and Kenny
