Obituary of Angelo Falcicchio
Angelo Falcicchio, 66, of Marlboro passed away at home on Thursday, June 29, 2017. Angelo was born in Bari, Italy, grew up in Astoria, Queens, and raised his family in Hazlet before retiring to Marlboro. He was a manager for Verizon for 30 years until his retirement in 2001. Angelo was a man of many interests and of great character. He was admired and respected by all who knew him. Angelo had a wonderful sense of humor and a zest for life. He loved and cherished his family. Sunday dinners at Nanny and Poppy's house were a tradition that he was very proud of. Angelo's ultimate joy was spending time with his family, especially his five grandchildren. His legacy of love, faith and family will live on in each of them forever.
He was predeceased by his parents, Vincenzo and Maria Falcicchio; and his sister, Marie Tuman. Angelo is survived by his wife of 45 years, Theresa Falcicchio of Marlboro; daughters, Denise Hussey and her husband, David of Lincroft, Laura Grube and her husband, William of Howell, and Tracey Wallace and her husband, Michael of Old Bridge; grandchildren, David, Madeline, Liam, John and Michael Angelo; brothers, Guiseppe, Donato and Lorenzo Falcicchio; and sisters, Rose Coppola and Agnes Kapouralos.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, July 2, 2017 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Monday, July 3, 2017 at 9:00 AM for the procession to his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Gabriel's Historic Church, 549 County Route 520, Marlboro.
