Condolences
It is almost impossible to comprehend that Sonny is no longer with us, I can still see his vibrant smile and hear his hearty laugh. I can only just imagine on April 28th, he was probably met by his father, Uncle Barney and brother, Harold and together those baritones are singing to the glory of God. Sleep on dear Sonny and take your rest, although your family loved you, God loved you best.
Dear Mrs. Bell: I was reading the obituary section of the Asbury Park Press the other day and I just wanted to let you know I'm sorry that you lost your husband in death. As a wife, I know the closeness you must have had with your husband and best friend. I know of a couple of men who also worked at the Jamesburg Home for Boys back in the 80's who most likely knew your husband. And I have a brother who was in the Navy and his son has just enlisted. It seems like Mr. Bell has led a fulfilling life. It is so important to remember that in these very difficult times, we have God's word the Bible to help us through them. When you have a moment, please look up these two scriptures that may offer you comfort in your time of need. John 5:28,29 which explains that those who have died, will one day be resurrected back to life. And Revelation 21:3,4 that says that one day we will no longer feel the pangs of death. That the former things have passed away. I hope this brings you a little comfort as you deal with your loss. Take Care, Kim Connally
REMEMBERING DADDY Dear Daddy, I hear your smooth voice whenever my Sister Arline and your Grandson Dashe talk. Your Granddaughter Courtney is showing signs of your altruism. The memory of your laughter and humor are helping me to smile through the pain. I'm sure I caught your infectious love of animals and nature. I told your cat "Sweetie Pie" that you love her. I couldn't catch the other one ("Doll Face") to tell her anything. (smile) I will see you perfected and resurrected at The Rapture! 1 THESSALONIANS 4:13-18 With Love and Honor, Karen
My prayers are with Mrs. Arline Ramsey and family. Keep your eyes on the Lord he will strength you and your family.
Daddy, I will always remember your wonderful voice and how much you loved music, as well as the joy you got from singing. You were so talented and shared your talent with so many. I remember how you got such pleasure from eating good food and desserts....and you passed this on to us!!

Arline: Don't think of him as gone away His journey's just begun, Life has so many facets This earth is only one Just think of him as resting From sorrows and tears In a place of warmth and comfort Where there are no days or years Think how he must be wishing That we could know, today Now nothing but our sadness Can really pass away.

I have been friends with Herman for about 60 years. We worked together at the State Home for boys for 30 years. My husband also worked there. We became friends with Herman and his lovely wife Geri. We all lived in the same development and would see each other on different occasions. I was very happy when Herman and Geri attended my 90th birthday party! Which was 2 years ago. I was so surprised that they were both able to attend, they looked good and were as sweet a couple as ever. My grandchildren really enjoyed meeting them and hearing the stories from when we all worked together at the Home for Boys. We are so sorry to hear of his passing. He was a very kind and loving person. He always had a pleasant smile and kind word for all. I will miss him, but know that I will see him again someday. I will always hold kind memories and thoughts of my long time friend Herman and pray that Geri is well again very soon. Sincerely, Betty Applegate and Grandchildren
