Obituary of Rita Certa

Rita A. "Riska" Certa, 63, of Howell, died Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mrs. Certa was born in Germany and came to the U.S. in 1951, settling in Howell. She was a cashier at WalMart, Howell. Surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, Wesley and Kaye Kowalew of Howell; two nieces and their husbands, Barbara & Marty Ward of Howell, and Brenda and Christopher Klammer of Jackson; a great-nephew, Nicholas Ward; and a great-niece, Sarah Ward. Visiting hours will be from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 2, with her funeral service at 1 p.m. at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Rita may be made to the Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall St., Eatontown, NJ 07724.
