Condolences
We were so sorry to hear about Wes's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. I will always remember Wes fondly, I have wonderful memories of times spent with Wes and Louise during our University of Windsor days . He leaves behind a wonderful family and I know you will all be a great source of comfort and support to one another. You are forever in our thoughts and forever in our hearts.
My prayers are with the family and friends of Mr. Bailey. He was truly a man of great compassion, wisdom and caring. As an Administrator at LMS and Oak Street school, he made a difficult job seem easy because his caring always showed through. He will be missed by the parents students and staff of Lakewood schools. May his family find comfort not only in the fact that he dwells in the house of the Lord, but that he touched and bettered this world greatly.
Wesley: You have earned your wings. Fly away now and take your rest at the foot of your eternal father. Your friendship will never be forgotten. Thanks you so much for being a devoted husband to my friend, an exceptional dad to your children and most of all, for being my friend. Your death came so suddenly, yet we thank God that you were able to make a difference in so many lives. Your legacy will live on. RIP Wesley.
Absent from the body is present with the Lord! My condolences to the family.

I would like to give my sincere condolences for your loss. This is A great loss for the world but a great gain for Heaven. Mr. Bailey was a great man, respected leader and wonderful friend. I would like to dedicate this song to his family and friends: Love has come by Mark Schultz.
I'm still in shock of hearing the news that an angel of Lakewood School District, our beloved Mr. Bailey has entered into eternal rest. Although my heart is heavy, I do rejoice in knowing this man of God walked and talked his ministry daily of invoking integrity, kindness, laughter, tenacity, generosity, compassion and determination not only to see that all students excelled in education, but also for the well-being and welfare of the students, their families and the community at large. You sir, are the epitome of Mr. Caring, Calm, Cool and Collected. I have you to personally thank for encouraging me to become more involved in Lakewood schools and community, PTSO, U.N.I.T.E., etc. You will be missed!!!!!! Please continue to be an angel watching over us!!! May God continue to bless and keep your family. Fly high Mr. Bailey fly high.
May your family find comfort one day in the extreme loss of your husband, father, uncle, brother, son, colleague, principal and friend. Thank you for all the years of service to the children of the Lakewood School System. He is truly going to be missed but his integrity and legacy will live on. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time.

I remembered the first time Wes tasted my mother's food was at our independence day celebration in Trenton at father Rico's field. He had to go back and ordered two of everything .After that he took her number and address and told her no one will ever cook his cassava leaves and torborgee again, that promised he kept.Every time when he was about to have a cookout or a party ,he would make sure to called my mom weeks in advance because Wes loved his stomach he would tell my mom what all he wanted in his pot.lol! remembered Eric and I going to his home for one of his many parties and he was telling us about Mrs.Barclay's African food and how well she could cook his cassava leaves and torborgee when I told him that she was my mom he was like now I see why your husband's stomach is so big he be eating all that good food.He was a friend and brother to all who knew him,my husband and Wes could just sit and talked about stories from their Ricks days. Wes we loved you ,but,God needed an angel and that is why He called you home.In closing I know ma Fama will be waiting to cook your cassava leaves and torborgee when she sees you. Love always Pinky .Bemah.Goll
