Obituary of Leona Robinson

Leona Marie Robinson, 56, of Howell, NJ died on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, NC. Mrs. Robinson was born in Neptune and was a lifelong resident of Howell, NJ before moving to Durham, NC three years ago. She worked as a floral designer for Floral Dimensions in Durham, NC for the past three years, prior to that she worked for Barlow's Flower Farm in Seagirt, NJ for many years. Mrs. Robinson was a former parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Farmingdale, NJ. She was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Charlotte Scheidt and a sister, Barbara Anne Stage. She is survived by one brother, John "Skip" Scheidt of Howell, NJ; One sister, Charlotte O'Brien of Durham, NC; Niece, Jamie Brown of Durham, NC; One Great Niece, Keiley Brown of Durham, NC. There will be a receiving of family and friends, at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Rd., (Route 524) Freehold Township on Thursday, May 28, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Relatives and friends may gather at 8:45 a.m. on Friday, May 29, for her Memorial Mass at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Chapel, West Main Street, Farmingdale NJ.
