Obituary of Christian Bocchiaro

Christian R. Bocchiaro, 31, of Lakewood, died Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at NYU Langone Medical Center, New York City. Mr. Bocchiaro was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and was raised and had lived in Old Bridge before moving to Lakewood in 2006. Christian was a 1995 graduate of Old Bridge High School. He was predeceased by his father, Robert, in 1990. Surviving are his mother, Linda Bocchiaro of Freehold Township; a brother and sister-in-law, Craig and Christine Bocchiaro of Jackson; a sister and brother-in-law, Tara and Emanuel Di Bari of Freehold Township; three nieces, Ava, Gianna, and Mia; and his maternal grandparents, Frank and Concetta Cundari of Toms River. Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. Friday, May 29 at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, (Route 524) Freehold Township. Relatives and friends may gather at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 30 at the funeral home for the rite of committal, followed by his 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Entombment will follow in St. Gabriel's Cemetery Mausoleum, Marlboro.
