Obituary of Claire Brock
Claire Brock, 85, of Freehold Twp., NJ, died on Friday, May 29, 2009, at Arnold Walter Nursing Home, Holmdel. Ms. Brock was born in Jersey City and had lived in Bayonne and Old Bridge before moving to Silvermead, Freehold Township, five years ago. She was a parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Freehold Twp. Ms. Brock was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and the Silvermead Rosary Prayer Group. Ms. Brock was a solderer for Western Electric, Kearny, for over 35 years, until her retirement.
She was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Thomas Brock; her brothers, Thomas, Francis and James Brock; and sisters, Mary Pearson and Margaret Quoos. She is survived by two sisters, Viola Fischer of Middletown and Catherine Clapp of Yarmouth, Cape Cod, Mass.; and many dear devoted nephews, nieces and friends.
Visitation will be at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Rd., Freehold Twp., NJ, on Monday, June 1, 2009, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Relative and friends may gather at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2 at the funeral home for the Rite of Committal followed by her 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Rd., Freehold Twp., NJ.
