Obituary of Rosemary Geschke

Rosemary Geschke, 81, of Neptune City, died peacefully on May 29, 2009 at home. Mrs. Geschke was born in Spring Lake Heights and had resided in Neptune City for the past 55 years. She worked in the Nutrition Dept. at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Prior to that, she was a Telephone Operator for NJ Bell in Spring Lake, NJ. Her greatest fulfillment, however, came from her role as devoted wife and loving mother. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, William H. Geschke of Neptune City; one son & daughter-in-law, Bill and Nancy Geschke of Neptune City; one daughter & son-in-law, Diane & Jerry Jesiolowski of Jackson; Rosemary was a loving "Grandma" to her grandchildren, Jenna Atkinson & Jed Jesiolowski; Her great grandchildren, Ryan & Taylor Atkinson, always brought great joy to her heart. She is also survived by her siblings, Vernon LaSala of Florida, Geraldine Houck of Massachusetts, Michael LaSala of Brick, NJ, Jane Jackson of Florida and Ralph LaSala of Neptune, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 805 Pine Street, Asbury Park on Monday, June 1, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Rosemary's memory may be made to Meridian Home Hospice, Meridian Health Foundation, 4900 Route 33, Suite 200, Neptune, NJ 07753 and would be appreciated.
