Mike was a classmate of mine back in high school. I was saddened to hear of his passing, and wish to extend my heartfelt sympathy to his family. Mike, though it's been many years since our paths have crossed, you will be missed.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Goffe, Perhaps you remember me. My name is Karen Hunter and I was one of Mike's math teachers at Freehold Twp. HS. I was both shocked and saddened to read of Mike's passing. Please accept my sincerest condolences. I will always remember Mike fondly. He was a kind and truly gentle man, always eager to give of his time to others with a smile. In the uncertain and turbulent times in which we live, I know Mike's unselfish and caring spirit will truly be missed. My prayers are with both of you and Patty for peace and courage in what I know is truly a most difficult and sorrowful time.
