Obituary of Francesca Vaccaro

Francesca Vaccaro, 80, of Freehold Township passed away on Monday, October 17, 2011 at home. Francesca was born and had lived in Satriano Catanzaro, Calabria, Italy, arriving in the U.S. in 1958 settling in Brooklyn. She lived in Brooklyn and Eltingville, Staten Island before settling to Silvermead, Freehold Township in 2000. Along with her husband, Francesco, Francesca owned Moretti's Bakery in Brooklyn. She worked as a seamstress until her retirement. Francesca was predeceased by her husband, Francesco and a daughter, Stella Vaccaro-Doma. She is survived by a son, Enrico Vaccaro and his wife, Jane of Dacula, Georgia; two daughters, Terre Panza and her husband, Pasquale of Freehold Twp. and Josephine Lynch and her husband, John of Freehold Twp.; seven grandchildren, Jenna Vaccaro, Danielle Panza, Christine Panza, John E. Lynch, Jackie Lynch, Samantha Doma and Salina Doma; a great grandson, Mikey; and a sister, Sister Maria Teresa Ranieri of Soverato, Cantanzaro, Italy. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township, NJ on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Rite of Committal at the Funeral Home, on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 9:00 AM followed by her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township, NJ. Entombment to follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
