Obituary of Louis Brandenberg
Lou M. Brandenberg, 61, of Westerville, Ohio, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2009 at home. Mr. Brandenberg was born in Rockaway Beach, N.Y. and had lived in New York City, Howell, and Oregon before moving to Ohio three years ago. Lou was a self-employed computer IT programmer. Mr. Brandenberg was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a 4th degree Knight of Columbus in Rockaway Beach, N.Y.
He is survived by his wife, Roselee; a sister and her companion, Barbara Hartmann and John DePoto of Howell; a sister-in-law, Beth Brandenberg of Howell; his niece and nephew, Teresa and Keith Childers of Hamilton Township; and two grandnieces, Cecilia and Livia Childers of Hamilton Township.
Visiting will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, June 27 until his funeral service at 8:30 p.m. at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Rd. (Route 524), Freehold Township. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Lou may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 1250 Broadway, Suite 2001, New York, NY 10001 and would be appreciated.
