Obituary of Iris Kauger

Iris Kauger, 75, of Howell, died Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mrs. Kauger was born in Pennsylvania and had lived in Freehold Township before moving to Howell 12 years ago. She was a clerk and personal injury claims processor for several area Insurance Companies for 25 years, retiring in 2004. She was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Mavis Homick. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Michael Kauger; her beloved cats, Sassy and Smarty Pants; and several nieces and nephews. Visiting will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday, June 25, with her funeral service to follow at 8:30 p.m. at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township, with the Rev.
