Obituary of Charles Stiennen
CHARLES "CHUCK" J. STIENNEN SR.
HOWELL
"Chuck" J. Stiennen Sr. of Howell, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at Care One at Wall. Mr. Stiennen was born in Newark and had lived in Howell for the past 41 years. He was a truck driver for Nappi Trucking in Matawan for 30 years before retiring in 1993. After retiring, Mr. Stiennen was a driver for Easter Seals, Neptune for five years. He was a parishioner of St. Veronica's Catholic Church, Howell. Mr. Stiennen was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War and World War II.
He was predeceased by a son, William Stiennen, in 1999. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Frances M. Stiennen; a son, Charles Stiennen Jr. of Chandler, Ariz.; two daughters, Patricia Stallworth of Jackson, and Catherine Skripak of Howell; a daughter-in-law, Susan Stiennen of Lawrence, Mass.; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Joan Keitel of Iselin.
Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Friday, June 26, with his funeral service to follow at 8:30 p.m. at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, (Route 524) , Freehold Township. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Charles may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, Church Street Station, P.O.
