Obituary of Andrew Hampel

Andrew "Andy" J. Hampel, 28, of Howell, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 29, 2009 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, after a courageous battle with cancer. Mr. Hampel was born in Neptune and was a life long resident of Farmingdale. He was a carpenter for Richard F. Hall Custom Homes, Brick. He is survived by his wife, Vanessa Hampel of Howell; his parents, Richard and Mary Ellen Hampel of Farmingdale; Two brothers, Richard "Bill" Hampel, Jr. and his wife Michele Demarest of Charleston, S.C., and Peter M. Hampel and his wife Katherine of Harrisburg, N.C.; One nephew, Brandon Kosma; and two nieces, Hanna and Raina Hampel. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township, on Thursday, July 2, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the funeral home on Friday, July 3, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Internment will follow in Kettle Creek Cemetery, Brick.
