Obituary of Rosemarie Tarantino

Rosemarie Tarantino, 68, of Freehold passed away on Thursday, July 30 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. Mrs. Tarantino was born in Lodi, and had lived in Passaic, Parsippany and Whippany before moving to Freehold in 1978. She was a homemaker, and a parishioner of St. Veronica's Catholic Church, Howell. Mrs. Tarantino is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert Tarantino of Freehold; one son, Stephen and his wife Sheryl Tarantino of Howell; one daughter, Maria Tarantino and her fiancé Scott Blank of Freehold; two grandsons, Robert and Christian; one sister Camille Turturro of Absecon; two nieces, Angela Tarantino of New York City and Lisa Karpinksy of Toms River; and two nephews Joseph Tarantino of Morris Plains and the late Bobby Tarantino. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Monday, August 3, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 4, at 8:00 AM for her rite of committal followed by her 9:00 AM funeral mass at St. Veronica's Catholic Church, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell NJ 07731. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack.
