Obituary of Grace Soltesz
Grace Soltesz, 82 of Freehold Township passed away on August 17, at the AcuteCare Specialty Hospital of Monmouth. Grace was a lifelong resident of New York City and had spent summers in Freehold Township until retiring from Manufacturer's Hanover Trust, NYC, in 1992 as their head bank teller. She then resided Freehold Township year round.
Grace was a parishioner and a Eucharistic Minister at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. She was member and past Secretary of the Rosary Altar Society at the church. Grace was a member and past secretary of the Catholic daughters of America. Grace also a member of the Freehold Township Senior Center.
Grace was predeceased by her husband, Stephen, in 1994. She is survived by: two sons, Stephen of Indiana and David of New York City; one grandson, Christopher of Indiana; and a brother, Charles Dietz of Island Park, NY.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, August 20th from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Rite of Committal at the funeral home on Friday, August 21st , at 9:00 AM followed by her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, McLean Street, Freehold. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
