Obituary of Clarence Wilson

Clarence Wilson, Jr., 83, of Howell, passed away at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, on Monday, Aug. 24, 2009. Mr. Wilson was born in Tennent, NJ, and was a life-long area resident. Mr. Wilson was a truck driver for Jersey Coast Freight Lines, Neptune, for 35 years retiring in 1981. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during World War II. He was predeceased by a brother and three sisters. He is survived by his wife, Shirley, of Howell; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Clarence Alan & Kathleen Wilson of Toms River, Douglas Larry Wilson & Trudy Brian of Brick and Clarence "CJ" Wilson, Jr. of Howell and one daughter and son-in-law, Monica Lynn and Dale Carpenter of Randleman, NC; 10 Grandchildren & 7 Great Grandchildren. Visiting at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Twp., NJ on Thursday, August 27, 2009, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Friday at the Funeral Home with Time to Be Announced. Interment will follow in Atlantic Cemetery, Colts Neck, NJ.
