Obituary of Raymond Patterson

Raymond W. Patterson, 85, of Toms River passed away on Monday, August 31, 2009, at Bey Lea Village Care Center, Toms River, NJ. Mr. Patterson was born in Howell Twp., and lived Lakewood before moving to Toms River four years ago. He was a graduate of Lakewood High School. Mr. Patterson was a milkman with Edgewood Farms, Howell, which later became Welsh Farms, Neptune, until his retirement in 1989. He was predeceased by two Brothers and two Sisters-in-Law: Howard & Elizabeth Patterson and Paul & Geraldine Patterson; and a Son-In-Law: John Colbert. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Pearl, of Toms River; four daughters: Linda Patterson and her long time companion, David Weeden, of Toms River, Joy Colbert of Toms River, Sharon & Keith Hasperg of Cheshire, Mass. and Diane & Daniel Jackson of Toms River; seven grandchildren: Theresa & Kevin Browne, Patricia & Karl LaSalla, Kurt & Melissa Hasperg, Stacey & Vitaly Volfson, John Colbert, Jr., Nicole Hasperg and Keith S. Hasperg; eight great grandchildren: Trevor, Kylie, Taylor, Gavin, Brynn, Gabriella, Owen and Kendall. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold Twp., NJ on Friday, September 4, 2009, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Friends and relatives are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Saturday, September 5, 2009, at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Lakewood, NJ.
