Hard to know what to say. Pual was one of three or four of my very best friends during the collge years. We were commissioned on the same day and I remember it like it was yesterday. Sadly, time and geography got in the way. He went his way and I went mine, and our contact was pretty much limited to the annual Christmas letters. A couple of things worth noting. Paul was a man ahead of his time and he made the most of his opportunities. Few of us can say that. What I remember most about Paul was that, in the four years that I knew him well, I never heard him say a bad thing about anyone. Few of us can say that either. God receive him as he wings his way home, and God bless his family in these difficult times.
"Memories like love ,live forever". Great words spoken by the minister. They ring true : through the eyes of my childhood in Freehold, many sleepovers at the Robinsons, I still see Mr.Robinson getting ready for a trip, laughing with Pam and I. He impressed me so in his unform! His nickname for me was "Lilly" as we made each other laugh. I still here his infectous laugh. He will always be in our memories as a generous, loving ,funny person. Dear Carole and Pam, May all Paul offered in life remain with you both in forever memories. I personally will always remember Paul's delightful soul, a wonderful gift he has left to all who knew him. Thank you both for sharing Paul and may peace come your way in his memory..
A gentle man, pilot, and patriot, all of the first order. I fondly recall our B-727 trips, and learned much from this good man. I still see that infectious smile. Volabamus Volamus
Dear Carole and Pamela: We were so sorry to hear of Paul's death. Please accept our deepest sympathy. It is hard to believe that it has been 34 years since Mary Lou and I departed Freehold for Atlanta. I have nothing but good memories of Paul and you from those days. He was always smiling and seemed to be having a good time with his life. We played Golf a few times with Joe O'Donnel and never failed to come home happy regardless of the score. We will not be able to attend the funeral but Paul and you will be in our prayers. With deepest sympathy, Betty & Joe Daniels
Dear Carole and Pamela, We are so sorry for your loss. Paul was the best kind of friend anyone could have. I always enjoyed his candor, his humor and his quick radiant smile. The times I sought his council he gave me his honest answers which I am sure were results of his experiences and honest heart felt opinions. He was the best of Men. We will remember him in our hearts and you and your family in our prayers
Dear Carole & Pam: Paul: An infectious smile, a warm and engaging personality, a big heart, an inquiring mind. A great loss. Carole & Sandy Ruden

Dear Carole and Pamela, Paul will always own a place in my heart. He was a man of great generosity and wit and always made you feel the better for having spoken to him and most certainly for having known him. In all the years that have passed since I left Freehold I still think of you guys and remember the wonderful times shared with your family. Paul was always there with that ready smile of his. I spoke to him a couple months ago and as sick as he was he was still his optimistic, cheerful, self and again I went away feeling the better for having spoken to him. What a gift he had in sharing himself. He was a man who cared. It was a privilege to have known him.
Dear Carole & Pam, We are sorry to have learned of Paul's death. Paul was loved by all--everyone was grateful to be able to call Paul Friend. This is difficult time, but we know that your memories and love of Paul, together with your family and friends, will be major sources of comfort and strength in the future. With our deepest sympathy and affection, Anita & Bill Wahl
I was truly saddened to see this news on the TWA pilots website. I flew with Captain Robinson quite a bit as a new hire engineer and co-pilot at TWA. I always looked forward to flying a trip with him because he was a great Captain! I learned a lot from him as I'm sure others did as well. Gracious, pleasant, easy going and patient are words that come to mind when I think back about Paul. Please accept my deepest condolences. Nick Frasca
