Obituary of Ronald Magan

Ronald "Ronnie" Magan, 52, of Howell, passed on Thursday, September 24, 2009, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, NJ. Mr. Magan was born in New Brighton, Staten Island, NY, and had lived in most of his life in Howell Twp. He was a parishioner of St. Veronica Catholic Church, Howell. Mr. Magan was a graduate of Howell High School, Class of 1974, where he was a member of their Soccer Hall of Fame. He was a dispatcher for Allied Auto Carrier, Newark. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Linda, of Howell; 2 Daughters, Nicole Magan, of Howell, and her financee, Jason Peine, of South River and Brooke Magan of Howell; his parents, Henry Magan of Delaware and Inez Magan of Howell; 2 brothers, Richard Magan of Howell and Robert Magan, and his wife Gerry, of Manalapan; 1 Sister, Lori Caravassillis and her husband, John, of Howell; 2 God sons: Jeffrey Buchman and Anthony Tardibuono and many nieces and nephews. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Twp. on Sunday, September 27th, from 1-3 and 6-8 PM. Relatives and friends may gather on Monday, September 28th, at 9:00 AM for the Rite of Committal followed by his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Veronica Catholic Church, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell. Entombment will follow in St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, 1 Honey Locust Road, Lakewood, NJ.
