Obituary of Robert Johnson

Robert W. Johnson, 82, of Jackson passed away on Friday, October 2, 2009 at home. Mr. Johnson was born in Lincoln, Nebraska and had lived in East Brunswick and Old Bridge before settling to Jackson in 1980. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving during World War II. Mr. Johnson was the owner of B & D Metal Fabricators and B & D Liquid Bulk, Old Bridge for 44 years retiring in 1993. He was predeceased by his wife, Doris in 2004. Mr. Johnson is survived by one son Gregory Johnson and his wife Barbara of Old Bridge; one daughter Corinne Johnson and her husband Thomas Cannon of Jackson; three grandchildren Terri, Jeffrey, and Thomas; two great grandchildren Ella and Jane and one sister Betty Smith of Indiana. His chapel service will be held at the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery Chapel, 350 Province Line Road, Arneytown, NJ on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at 10:30 AM.
