Obituary of Alexander Altomare

Alexander Altomare, 89, of the Villages in Freehold passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2009 at home. Mr. Altomare was born in Manhattan and had lived in Brooklyn, and Queens before settling to Freehold in 1997. He retired as the manager of the Bohack Supermarkets in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Mr. Altomare was a former trustee and member of the Mens Club at the villages. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Frances Altomare of Freehold; one son Richard Altomare and his wife Barbara of Boca Raton, FL; one daughter Denise and her husband Chris Parke of Freehold Township; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and one sister Laura Sousa of CA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his inurnment service at the Marlboro Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum, 361 Highway 79, Morganville, NJ 07751, on Friday, October 9, 2009 at 11:00 AM.
