Obituary of Ralph Flannery
Ralph Wade Flannery, 57, of Neptune passed away peacefully with his loving wife at his side on Tuesday October 13, 2009 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. He was born in Hamilton Ohio, raised in Long Branch and moved to California before returning to New Jersey in 1990.
Ralph was a retired weighmaster for Stavola construction, Tinton Falls and a founding member of the Loose Goose. In his retirement he could be found passionately restoring motorcycles or helping a friend in need.
He is survived by his, wife Linda Flannery of Neptune; two daughters, Jessica Sewell and Veronica Miller of California; four step children, Mario Smeriglio, Jr. of Neptune, Tisha Cox of Point Pleasant, Jason Sewell and Jenifer Alverez of California; thirteen grandchildren; his twin sister, Sue McElory of Manahawkin; and brother Ron Flannery of Oceanport. He will be sadly missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Relatives and friends may gather at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township, on Saturday, October 17, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Interment is private.
