Obituary of Martin Hrynick
Martin "Marty" Hrynick, 83, of Whiting passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin. Marty was born and grew up in Linden and had lived in Jackson for over thirty-five years until moving to Whiting. He was a U.S. Marine Corp. veteran serving during WWII. Marty was the president and superintendent of St. Vladimir's Russian Orthodox Christian Cemetery, Jackson for over twenty years. Prior to that he worked for Chase-Manhattan, NYC as a senior systems analyst and was previously the assistant vice president and senior system analyst for Prudential, Newark. Marty was a life member of AMVETS, Jackson. He was a member of St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Church, Jackson. Marty was a singing member and assistant conductor of the Cappella Male Russian Choir. He was always known for his help and kindness with everyone he came in contact with.
Marty is survived by his wife, Helen Hrynick; two daughters, Suzanne Bajew Wolf and her husband, Warren , of Little Silver, Daria Hrynick and her husband, Mark Browne of Madison, Wisconsin; a son, Timothy Hrynick of Little Egg Harbor; six grandchildren, Daniel, Alexandra, Chelsea, Zachary, Rose and Beatrice; a sister, Sunny Lawrence of Mt. Laurel, NJ. .
A Panyhida service will be held at St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Church, 316 Cassville Road, Jackson on Monday, July 30, 2012 at 6:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the church on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Vladimir's Russian Orthodox Christian Cemetery, Jackson. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, NJ.
