Obituary of Allan Lembitz

Allan J. Lembitz, 78, of Highlands, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy, NJ. Mr. Lembitz was born in Baltimore, MD, and had lived in Detroit, MI, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Phoenix, MD, and Warren Twp., NJ, before moving to the Highlands in 1998. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Lembitz was the Chairman of the Board of Beverage America Inc., Highlands, NJ for 24 years. Prior to that, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Biding-Brauereiag of American Frankfurt Operations; the President of Canada Dry, Metro Div., Maspeth, Queens, NY and he was an Executive Vice President of Rheingold Breweries, Orange, NJ. He is survived by his wife, Anna M. Lembitz, of Highlands; two daughters, Nancy Jostock, and her husband, Patrick, of Colts Neck and Susan Lembitz of Highlands; a brother, Richard Lembitz, of Maryland; 2 Sisters, Patricia Adams of Virginia and Linda Lembitz of Maryland and many nieces and nephews. His visitation was held on Friday, December 4th, at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold Twp., NJ.
