Obituary of Ralph Stout

Ralph E. Stout, 79, of Howell Twp. passed away on Thursday, Dec. 3rd, at home. Mr. Stout was born in Wall Twp. and was a life-long resident of the area. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 54, Freehold. Mr. Stout was a member of the Public Employees Retirement System. Ralph was a retail sales supervisor for the Monmouth County Park System from 1982 until his retirement in 2001. Prior to that, he worked in the Sales Dept. at Suburban Propane, Howell Twp., from 1952 to 1983. He also worked at Mary's Catering, Belmar, as their Banquet Manager for many years. He was a former member of the Freehold Lions Club. He was predeceased by a brother, George Stout, and 3 sisters, Ella Stout, Georgia Stout and Alice Stout. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ada M.; a son, Kevin A. Stout and his wife, Nancy, of Cream Ridge; a daughter, Karen A. Stout-Levin, and her husband, Richard, of Howell Twp.; and grand dogs, Dodi, Baron & Cordie. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Twp. on Sunday, Dec. 6th, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. Friends and relatives are invited to attend his funeral service at 10:00 AM on Monday, Dec. 7th, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ralph's memory may be made to Deborah Hospital Foundation, NJ Region, P. O.
