Obituary of James Magliozzo
James Magliozzo, 88, The Villages, Freehold passed away on Friday, December 11, 2009 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mr. Magliozzo was born in and had lived in Brooklyn before moving to Freehold in 1985. He was a self-employed house painter for 45 years and then went to work at the Freehold Raceway for 22 years retiring in 2007. Mr. Magliozzo was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during World War II.
He was predeceased by his wife, Christina in 2007. Mr. Magliozzo is survived by two sons: James S. Magliozzo and his wife, Dorothy of Freehold Township and Joseph T. Magliozzo and his wife, Joan of Hamilton Township; one daughter: Rosalind and her husband John Santimauro of Staten Island; 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; two brothers: Joseph Magliozzo and Salvatore Magliozzo both of Brooklyn; and one sister: Angelina Visconti of Charlotte, NC.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Sunday, December 13, 2009 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends invited to attend his 11:00 AM funeral mass on Monday, December 14, 2009 at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township.
