Obituary of Clifford Krentzman

Clifford Krentzman, 82, Freehold passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2009 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Mr. Krentzman was born in Brooklyn and had lived in the Colonia section of Woodbridge before settling to Surrey Downs, Freehold in 1987. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving during World War II. Mr. Krentzman was the owner along with his son, Eric of the Craig Road Texaco Gas Station until retiring in 1993. Prior to that, he owned with his wife Shirley Craftmates, Colonia. Mr. Krentzman owned and operated the Krentzman Window Display Company from the 1950s to the 1970s. He was predeceased by his wife Shirley and a brother Stanley Krentzman. Mr. Krentzman is survived by two sons: Stewart Krentzman and his wife Bonnie of River Vale, NJ and Eric Krentzman and his wife Sue Ann of Brick; and five grandchildren: Jeff Krentzman and his wife Jessica, Ross Krentzman, Elena Krentzman and her fiancée Kevin, Adam Krentzman and his fiancée Beth and Captain Dan Krentzman, United States Army. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Brig. Gen. Wm. C Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 10:00 AM procession will leave at 9:00 AM from the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township. The family will observe Shiva on Tuesday, December 29 until Wednesday evening, December 30 at his son, Eric's home, 26 Obispo Drive, Brick, NJ 08723.
