Obituary of Elizabeth Adams

Elizabeth Adams, 82, of Freehold passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at home. Mrs. Adams was born in Glasgow, Scotland and was raised in Brooklyn, and had lived in Belford and Middletown before settling to Surrey Downs, Freehold in 1997. She was a former member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Middletown. Mrs. Adams was predeceased by her husband, Robert and two sons, Robert and Richard. She is survived by two daughters: Janet Shipton and Linda Coleman and her husband Richard both of Farmingdale; seven grandchildren: Robert, Heather, Claire, Peter, Matthew, Andrew, and Elizabeth; and a daughter-in-law: Susan Adams of Holmdel. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.
