Obituary of Felice Cafasso

Felice Cafasso, 73, of Howell passed away on Monday, February 1, 2010 at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Mr. Cafasso was born in Rofrano, Province Salerno, Italy and came to the United States in 1962 settling in Brooklyn. He moved to Howell in 2007. Felice was a mixer for American Bakeries "Taystee Bread", Flushing for 30 years retiring in 1992. He was predeceased by two brothers, Antonio and Angelo. Felice is survived by his wife, Giovanna; Two sons, Peter and his wife Rosanna Cafasso of Howell and Frank Cafasso of Staten Island; two daughters, Rosa Durso and her husband Monty of Howell and Josephine Cafasso of Jackson; five grandchildren: Jennifer, Thomas, Maria, Joseph, Francesca; five four legged grandchildren, Princess, Rocky, Cloe, Murphy and Princess II; four brothers: Giovanni, Guiseppe; Raffaele and Francesco; three sisters: Antonia, Maria and Carmela. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Thursday, February 4, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Friday, February 5, 2010 at 9:45 AM for his rite of committal followed by his 10:45 AM funeral mass at St. Veronica's Catholic Church, 4215 Route 9, Howell. Interment will follow in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
