Obituary of Jean Louro

Jean Marie Louro, 52 of Freehold Township passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2010, at her parents' home in Wall Township surrounded by her loving family. Jean is now with her beloved brother, John who passed away in 1994. She was born in Jersey City and was a lifelong resident of Freehold Township. Jean spent most of her adult life in the building industry. She was a highly regarded and respected project manager. During her career, which spanned over twenty years, Jean was employed by several large building companies in Monmouth and Ocean Counties. She was last employed as a regional project manager for Kara Homes. Jean also enjoyed and was a very dedicated and excellent wine maker. Jean was a professional Aunt. In addition to her brother, Dr. John Louro, Jean was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Philomena and Angelo Guadagno and her paternal grandparents, Joseph and Modesta Louro. Jean is survived by her, parents, Frances M. and Joseph A. Louro of Wall; three brothers: Dr. Joseph J. Louro and his wife, Vicki of Wall; Dr. James A. Louro and his wife, Judy of Wall; Dr. Jeffrey F. Louro and his wife, Dawn of Jackson; a sister-in- law, Janet Louro DeVito and her husband, Frank of Freehold Twp.; nieces and nephews: Joseph A. Louro and his wife, Cynthia; James Louro and his wife, Jen; Doug, Colin and Nick Louro; Jonathan and Francesca DeVito. James, Jack, John, Jessica, Jennifer and Jake Louro; Ashley, Trevor, Kaysie, and Krista Louro; a grand nephew, Joseph A. Louro, Jr.; her loving aunts and uncles and numerous cousins and many lifelong friends especially, Connie Slocum and Connie's fiancée, Rick Carlson. Jean will be missed dearly by her family, as well as her many friends, co-workers and anyone who had met her. Jean was a fun, loving, caring and friendly person. She was smiling all the time! A gathering of family and friends will be on Monday, February 8, 2010 from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township followed by an 11:00 AM Funeral Mass. Entombment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, Freehold. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in memory of Jean may be made to either the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105-1942 or to Camp Quality New Jersey, P.O.
