My sympathies to Maggie, Drew and Matt-Matt; I was very blessed to meet Candace thru the Make-A-Wish Foundation. It was a privelege to help create the very special memories you have of your trip to Disney. Candace was such a special little Princess. My her spirit live on in your hearts forever.

Maggie, Bill and Matt, I am a friend of Jamie and Bob - While I never had the pleasure of meeting all of you and Candace Jamie has told me your story and kept me updated - I had the one pleasure though of sending the Disney Princess room decorations for Candace's big party in January and people from our Amscan warehouse sent along a stuffed animal or two for her to enjoy - I hope that she got some happiness out of that - my heart is with you all and as a mother I cannot imagine the pain you are having at this moment in time but someday (I promise) you will be able to think of Candace and all the smiles she brought not only to you but to all who knew her - that is what God sent her here for and she accomplished her task - now she is back home running with butterflies and chasing rainbows - my prayers to you all to help you get through

I worked with Ben Jr. through the EMT unit. I am terribly sorry for your loss. I too have a child and can imagine how it would shake the very foundations of my existence if I was to ever loss him. I am sure she is an angel looking down at you all and sending her love to you in many ways. Try to find your peace knowing that she is with God and no longer suffering.
