Obituary of Selma Nachbar

Selma Nachbar, 96, of Somerset passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Selma was born in Poland and lived in Brooklyn before moving to Delray Beach, Florida. For the past ten years, she resided in the Regency Jewish Heritage Nursing and Rehab Center, Somerset. Selma was predeceased by her husband, Solomon Nachbar; a brother, Henry Kaminsky; and a sister, Ruth Colen. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Leonard and Janice Nachbar of Freehold Township, Isaac and Debby Nachbar of Teaneck, and Joel and Hilary Nachbar of Philadelphia; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a brother, Albert Kaminsky of Pembroke Pines, Florida. Her Funeral service will be at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township, NJ on Friday, February 12, 2010 at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow in Freehold Hebrew Cemetery, Freehold Township.
