Condolences
Mom It is sad to lose someone who is so dear to us...but there is comfort in remembering the times she made us laugh, and consoled us when we cried, her thoughtfulness, warmth and unselfishness and all the times she made such a positive difference in our lives. As you said..,I too am very pround to have her genes.
Words, smells, and fond memories that always bring me back to Gram:We all have certain things that trigger a memory of someone special. Cards-many games she played with us or taught us. Chop suey- trips to LBI where gram would cook for the whole day and be able to feed us for weeks.Books- her love of reading transferred down to many of us.Pots- such a strange memory , but I can still see her standing at the sink scrubbing the bottoms until they looked new.Hankies- tucked in her sleeve to catch a runny nose.Hummels, the many she had in the front room in the brownstone. And the stories she shared that gave me sooo much courage when I was faced with tough times. Her love will always be a part of all of us and I will forever tell my son about the wonderful Great, Great Gram she is and will always be.I Love You Grandma Dickman!
Dear Aunt Brenda and Family,
We are saddened with the passing of your Mother. We wish we were there to celebrate her life as you lay her to rest and she goes to her eternal reward. The doorway to heaven is open for a Great-Grandmother, and a wonderful person.
She was always such a delight to be around. To us, Grandma Elsie will be remembered as someone who was always fun loving and could cook some great German food. She will truly be missed.
We love her and will always keep her in our prayers.

Dear Bob, You have my deepest sympathy for your loss. I remember your Mom very fondly and I'm sure you will miss her. (When it is too hard to hide your tears, then never mind..... ... start chopping onions. Let the heart cry and you just smile and put the blame on the onions). Your buddy, AAA
We're not the quietest family. When we gather we're loud and boisterous, always talking over each other in our excitement at being together. Gram would always say, "you guys are so loud, I can't hear myself think" or "you're making me dizzy all talking at once" ... of course she'd be smiling as she grumbled. I guess now she has her well deserved peace.
She was one of the strongest women I know. The type of person who when life gave them lemons, made lemonade. I can only hope that some of her genes passed on to me.
There will always be a spot in my heart with her in it, Love you Gram....
My late husband Ron and I always knew her as Grandma, on Danny Jr. conformation party Ron was in charge of the beer keg. When he was setting it up Gram came out on the deck to lend a helping hand and I think by the time the party began Ron and Gram were the life of the party.
She was a great person to everyone and will miss greatly.
Love to the family
