Obituary of John Magyar
John L. Magyar, 59, of Toms River passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at the Leisure Chateau, Lakewood. Mr. Magyar was born in Toms River and had lived in Howell, before moving back to Toms River seven years ago. He was a system analyst for I.B.M, Dayton before becoming disabled in 1995. Mr. Magyar was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church, Toms River. He also enjoyed remote control automobiles and airplanes, and was a former member of the Surf Corvette Club, and the Ocean County Modeler's Club.
Mr. Magyar was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Dorothy Magyar and his brother, Robert F. Magyar in 2005. He is survived by his wife, Susan; his daughter, Nicole Magyar of Shamong, NJ and one grandson, John Magyar.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service, at the funeral home, on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Farmingdale.
