Obituary of Maria Fedorow

Maria Fedorow, 78, of Howell Twp. passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer at her daughter's home in Wall Twp. She was born in Belarus. During World War II she was in a work camp in Germany. In 1949 she immigrated to the U.S. and resided in Brooklyn, NY, before moving to Howell Twp. in 1964. She was a home health care aide for over 15 years and last employed at Helpmates, Inc., Lakewood. Mrs. Fedorow attended St Alexander Nevsky Russian Orthodox Church, Howell Twp. She was predeceased by her 13-year old grandson, David Pasick, in 2004. She was also predeceased by her brothers John and Nicholas; and he sisters Nadia Makowicz and Anna Stupakova. She is survived by one son, Alexander Fedorow of Howell Twp.; a daughter and son-in-law, Olga and Richard Pasick of Wall Twp.; 2 grandchildren, Christina Pasick and Luke Pasick; her sister, Lidia Dzinisiewicz of Wall Twp; her sister-in-law, Christine Honcharik, many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends and relatives are invited to attend her Panihida (Prayer Service) on Thursday. March 4th, at 7:30 PM at the St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Alexander Avenue & Route 9, Howell, NJ. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 5th, 11:30 AM at the Cathedral. Interment will follow in St. Vladimir's Russian Orthodox Cemetery, Jackson, NJ.
