Obituary of Patricia Spero

Patricia S. Spero, 66, of Freehold Township, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2010, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mrs. Spero was born in Passaic, grew-up in Wallington and lived in Hackensack and Hazlet before moving to Freehold Township in 1975. She was a graduate of Montclair State University. She was a business teacher at Raritan High School and, after moving to Freehold Township, she taught in the Freehold Regional School District, most recently at Freehold Township High School. Mrs. Spero was also a judiciary clerk at the Monmouth County Court House until becoming disabled. She was a parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Freehold Township. She enjoyed bridge with her group. Survived by her husband, Michael A., of Freehold Township; 3 sons, Michael James Spero of Tuckerton, Marcus Brent Spero of Media, PA, and Jason Patrick Spero of Freehold Township; 1 daughter, Cynthia Marie Black of Pittsburgh, PA; 2 Grandchildren, Jacob and Nicole. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, March 15th, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Relatives and friends may gather on Tuesday at 9:00 AM at the funeral home for the Rite of Committal followed by her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township.
