Obituary of Elizabeth Molnar
Elizabeth "Betty" Y. Molnar, 91 of Morganville section of Marlboro Township passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 25, 2010 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Betty was born, raised and live in New Brunswick before moving to Franklin Township in 1957. She settled in Morganville in 1980.
Betty was an independent contractor for Raritan Periodical Sales, East Brunswick for twelve years retiring in 1984. Prior to that she was a school crossing guard with the Franklin Township Police Department for over twenty years. Betty was a member of the St. Clements' Seniors Club, Matawan. She was also an avid bingo player and loved doing puzzles and reading.
She was predeceased by her husband, Erno Arthur Molnar in 1972. Betty is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Kenneth Benko with whom she lived with in Morganville; a sister-in-law, Ann Molnar of New Brunswick; several nieces and nephews; and her faithful canine companion, Gunnar.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at a time to be announced.
