Obituary of Cathy Smith

Cathy L. Smith, 36, of Howell passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at home after a courageous battle. Mrs. Smith was born in Flemington and had lived in Glen Gardener before moving to Howell in 1998. She was a nurse for Meridian Nursing and Rehab., Shrewsbury for eleven years until becoming ill. Mrs. Smith was a member of the New Jersey State Grange as well as a former member of the Hampton Emergency Squad. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Smith Jr. of Howell; one son, Matthew Smith of Howell; one daughter, Meghan Smith of Howell; her parents, Anthony and Patricia Nazzaro of Glen Gardener; her sister, Christine Jones of Glen Gardener; her maternal grandparents, Ralph and Esther Lomerson of Glen Gardener; two nieces and one nephew. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Saturday, May 1, 2010 from 12 Noon until 2:00 PM, with her funeral service to follow at the funeral home at 2:00 PM.
