Obituary of Catherine Gunset

Catherine Joan Gunset, 84, of Freehold passed away at The Manor on Monday, June 21, 2010. Mrs. Gunset was born and raised in Westbury, NY, and had lived in the Bronx, NY, Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Syracuse, NY, and Baltimore, MD, before moving to Freehold in 1993. She was a graduate of Towson University, Towson, MD. Mrs. Gunset was a Teacher's Aide with the Baltimore County School System. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, Freehold, NJ. Mrs. Gunset was predeceased by her sister, Mary Small. She is survived by her husband, Edward J. Gunset, of Freehold; a son, Edward Gunset, and his wife, Nancy, of Morganville and three grandchildren, Alexandra, Austin and Ashley. Friends and relatives are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 25, 2010, at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Twp. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Catherine's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
